The Atom text editor is a free text and open source and source code editor for Microsoft Windows with support for plug-ins listed on Node.js, and embedded Git Control, developed by GitHub. Atom is a desktop application built using web technology. Most of the expandable packages are free and licensed software licenses and are maintained.

Overview of Atom text editor:-

This app is based on Electron (formerly known as Atom Shell), a framework that enables desktop applications with platforms using Chromium and Node.js. Written in Kofi script and Less.
